Wow! What was the publication that made the mistake? When I visit the Salt Lake City area, I'm always amazed at the obituaries in the SLC Tribune. If you've never read them, they are worth the read.
Wow, that is a classic.
I don't think it's real... look at the capitalization of "Stolen" and "Homicide."Then again who knows...
I think the capitalization is done that way to reflect the capitalization style of the headers.
Oh, hilarious. And Deb, I live in Salt Lake, and am frequently dismayed by the quality of the obits in the local paper. Rhymed verse is popular, as is straight up plagiarism. Everyone's a copywriter, though, I guess, and really, why not rhyme? It's a fun time! And I'm feeling fine!Yep.
Bill, no thoughts on this? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/03/AR2009070301129_pf.html
Well, what IS the mistake? I figured it was breaking the rule that says: in publishing a correction, never reprint what was wrong to begin with.
